Gettysburg and THE ROCK...

We went to Gettysburg on our way to the sweetest place on earth. It was beautiful we could have spent the whole day here hiking and exploring the battlefield.

This panoramic picture shows little round top and big round top.

This was a great spot, where if you squatted down, the statue looked just like it was a rider coming over the hill of the battlefield.

Here we are at little round top Matt was in hot pursuit of this rock formation. When he was a kid and visited here he took a picture with his siblings on this rock and it brought him many happy memories. He has had this picture with him at his desk since I have known him. Of course it is now at home, but if we had it we would scan it a put it in the blog next to these pictures! bummer...

Happy memories!!

He is such a good rock climber these rocks were big with lots of ravines between.

I on the other hand was not such a great rock climber.

I tried though...

Here's my rock, yea!!

After finding the rock on little round top, Matt was satisfied and decided that we could head on to the sweetest place on earth...

These are very spectacular mountains and the entire green valley’s scenic and beautiful spots which do make a worth of this place and shows the in-depth historical civilization of this destination as well.
